Renny is coming home tonight and I'm pretty excited. Things have been rough lately with all the stress from work, my volunteer position, and the problems between Shad and Sara, so it'll be good to have Renny back in my arms. Things really are so simple with her sometimes and I could use a rest.
I'm planning to curl up with her and have a fairly inexpensive "date" within my flat tomorrow since I'm off. I'm planning to go out to Walgreens and pick up some relaxing bubble bath and maybe some other surprise accessories for relaxation so she can soak away the stressed of this past week and a half. Then I plan to pick up some steak from the University Meat Sales Room after lunch with Missy tomorrow so that we can cook steak and garlic mashed potatoes together for dinner. I figured I have enough media on my computer that we could just take some time to curl up together fairly easily.
I know it's not terribly romantic, but I'm a bit strapped for cash right now. This past month, I got hit with a surprise withdrawl from my checking account by my insurance company and I just got a bill from Sprint for my new phone. I really have to do a better job of keeping track of my expenses, especially with rent going up for September. I figure that I won't be too bad off, but I need to make sure that I plan things out. Unfortunately, this probably means that I won't be able to afford my new monitor for a while as things are. Fortunately, I should be seeing my raise show up sometime either on the next paycheck or in late August, so that should make tings a tad bit easier, even if I'm only bumped up a little bit.
